Can I eat after a root canal?

Our dentists at Lumino Smiles Dental will provide detailed instructions on root canal aftercare and recovery, including diet. Most patients can eat 30–45 minutes after a root canal, as long as the filling is hardened and the anesthetic wears off. We also recommend avoiding chewing or biting down with the treated tooth.
