Insurance Information
We encourage patients to research their insurance plans with a critical eye as many plans promote the use of certain products or services. Our goal is to provide the best dentistry available, no matter your insurance coverage. If you have questions regarding your specific coverages and expenses you may incur, we welcome you to contact us directly.
We accept:
- Private health insurance
- Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)
- Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS)
- Medicare Bulk Billing
- Preferred Provider for HCF and CBHS
- All other health insurance
If you do not have private insurance, you can often save money by paying out of pocket when accounting for the cost of insurance and the gap in coverage. It is important to remember that your dental care is a decision between you and your dentist. We will always discuss all possible treatment options and help you determine additional expenses.
Cancellation Policy
Our team at Lumino Smiles Dental will always try to respect your time as much as you do ours. Short notice cancellations, failure to attend and arriving late (more than 10 minutes) disrupts our schedule to treat patients and puts undue stress on our staff. Appointments are reserved for you and only you, thus each appointment is uniquely set up and prepared for your treatment as planned by you and the doctor. Any changes require at least 24 hours' notice to our team. We will also request confirmation of your appointment 24 hours before. If an appointment cannot be confirmed at least 24 hours beforehand, we reserve the right to offer the appointment to others who may otherwise have been turned away.
A missed appointment or short notice cancellation represents a cost to us and disappointments for other patients wanting to book in. Due to the difficulties of booking last minute cancellations, we require at least 24 hours notice. As we cannot accommodate the financial strain of missed appointments, a cancellation fee of $100 also applies to cover costs incurred.
If you do not receive a SMS or phone call, your appointment remains your responsibility for you to attend or reschedule with more than 24 hours notice.
Reservation Fee
$50 Reservation Fee is required at the time of making any appointment with Lumino Smiles.
Upon confirmation 48 hours prior to reserved appointment, Reservation Fee will be deducted from the cost of the dental care you receive on the day.
Failing to attend, rescheduling or cancelling appointments with LESS than 24 hours notice, the reservation fee will be retained by us as your cancellation fee.
Zip Pay
We accept Zip Pay to help you manage the cost of your dental treatment with flexible repayments on purchases up to $1,000.
